Childhood

These pictures were taken on Mother's Day. It was such a nice Mother's Day! Nic was home this year, that's always a plus especially so that he can help the kids get mother's day flowers :) I have the BEST kids in the world! Taelynn is such an amazing girl. She is so smart and talented. That girl knows how to have a good time! Maximus is my handsome little stud winning me over with his shy smile and his "I love you" gazes. He adores his sister and is such a content, happy boy!

When I think about the world and the chaos that goes on it's amazing to me how much childhood is like a little bubble. I love the Rice Krispie's commercial's.......childhood is calling. I'm not a perfect mom but I hope that when my kids look back they will remember :

Bubbles, laughter, mermaids, popsicles, snow angels, butterfly kisses, dinosaurs, books......lot's of good books, picnics, cousins, mud pies, tickle monsters, driving in Daddy's truck, pinky promises, dandelions, and SO MUCH LOVE!

I want to thank my own mother for creating a childhood of those things above! I love you Mom! Any bit of good I do as a mom I owe to you.
